UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT COVID-19 RESPONSE: We are now offering fingerprinting in Towson | Bel Air | Berlin | Essex | Westminster. All fingerprinting is by appointment only. Please call the appropriate office number between the hours of 9 am – 5 pm to schedule your appointment.

Five Convenient Live Scan Fingerprinting Locations.
Absolute Fingerprinting Service provides digital electronic fingerprinting for Maryland Criminal record check and National (FBI) Criminal record check.
Our staff has been authorized and certified through the State of Maryland and C.J.I.S. to electronically transmit State and Federal Criminal Background record requests to the Central Repository. The direct livescan fingerprinting method captures all required Criminal History information on behalf of Federal and State agencies as well as licensing requirements for private individuals.
In the near future, the Maryland C.J.I.S (CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION SERVICES) and the Maryland State Police will no longer accept inked fingerprint cards for Federal and State licensing or backgrounds. ALL fingerprinting will be done by way of the ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION or “LiveScan” method. When this time comes, the Maryland State Police and local law enforcement agencies will no longer provide these services to the general public. Absolute still provides fingerprinting using the traditional ink method. This service is usually needed when an individual has to be fingerprinted for another state or agency.
Before visiting us to be fingerprinted, please click on the button below and fill out the form prior to your arrival. Remember to bring a valid form of State or Federal ID with you. Fingerprints will not be captured without proper ID, no exceptions.
All fingerprinting customers: Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to closing to allow time for fingerprint processing.
